Areas of skirting the suburb present fabulous opportunities for mountain biking and bush walks and short hikes up Mt Cootha. Enogerra dam near Walkabout Creek provides the perfect destination at the doorstop for a bushwalk and swim on a hot afternoon. A peaceful bush setting and one that so many kids these days just don’t get to experience. So much of our time generally gets spent in ‘sterile’ or artificial environments sometimes it’s just so nice to get back to nature. Away from compulsion to check the latest f/b or insta posts and listen to wildlife and just enjoy peace. How lucky to have this on our doorstep.

We’d like this site to be used as a local voice for locals, schools, churches, sporting organisations and other groups and businesses within our community to reach residents. A resource to turn to for information on ‘what’s happening’ in the Gap and surrounding suburbs.

Important topics like schools, medical, dental, shopping, clubs, sports and activities will help give you a sense of what is available for your family’s health and wellbeing in The Gap area.
